Image Comic has revealed that The One Hand & The Six Fingers will be hitting bookstores and comic shops on December 24th. The incredible sci-fi detective noir (and a little bit of horror) was one of my favorite crossovers of the year, but now the two series are packaged together for a whole new reading experience Now it looks like this.

“We set out to explore uncharted territory with this twin story and convey a third truth in our reading,” said Lam V. We hope our readers enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it. ”

So what is “One Hand and the Six Fingers”?

The story follows Johannes Weil, a neo-novena archeology student who has always been very in control of his life. But everything starts to spiral out of control when he uses the MO of a historically infamous serial killer to commit brutal murders…and Johannes doesn’t remember doing it.

What follows is a dangerous cat-and-mouse game told through two intertwined stories. The two will stop at nothing to unravel the secrets and codes of this case, but each revelation only leads them deeper into the dark heart of this futuristic metropolis.

“The idea with One Hand and the Six Fingers was to create two mysteries that intertwine and intertwine, and reveal a third mystery in the negative space between them,” Watters said. spoke. “This is one of the most ambitious projects I’ve ever been a part of, and one of the most rewarding because I think we’ve done it. Two creative teams, a fear of the future, and a bucketload of… A book born of blood.”

“Designing the glyph language for One Hand and Six Fingers was a great creative challenge. We developed a unique graphical system that evokes mystery while being instantly recognizable as a code that unifies both stories. Especially the collaboration with Lawrence and Smit and how they integrated that into their storytelling,” said designer Tom Muller.
