Syzygy Publishing and Image are back at Dread The Halls 2025. Co-creators Jordan Hart and Chris Ryal are back in the 72-page holiday horror anthology that arrived at comic shops everywhere on December 3rd.

Last year’s article Dread the Halls (2024), and comic-themed Hall H, got a massive hit and sold out quickly, and SDCC praised Hall Panel as one of the hottest tickets in town!

Dread the Halls 2025 continues the annual tradition of holiday horror stories. Ryall and Hart solve five very different stories that run the spectrum from suspense to splatter. Joining the crew of Dread The Hall is artist Luana Vecchio, who shows the story of her first holiday. This 12-page Yuletide riff begins like a distinctive Christmas movie and ends as a story of a razor-sharp revenge. Fábio Veras is back to render the strings of a cold, ghostly calendar, but Lee Ferguson brings the black Carol back to life. Like Keithan Jones, co-founder of Black Comix Day, he makes his image comic debut with the visuals of Mars-Red Holiday Frightmare.

“This year’s horror The Halls unites some of the industry’s top artists and gives all five stories a unique style and tone,” says co-creator, author, designer and designer Jordan Hart. “The ideas and implementations vary, but they all woven together, bringing about super-large issues that are merely fun from start to finish.”

DREAD THE HALLS is back and haunts another Christmas season and appears for $6.99 with a 72-page gift from Holiday Horror of Holiday Horrors! This time, Jordan Hart and Luana Vecchio will offer a seasonal blend of distinctive and brutal revenge films. Chris Ryol and Keesan Jones turn Mars red when they say “The Martians conquer Santa Claus!” ” Walter Pax and Fábio Veras return to a series that renders the horrors of celebration. And Riall and Lee Ferguson introduce a black Christmas carol to “a chain forged from life.”

“Just as people all over the world look forward to the various end-of-year holidays,” said co-creator and author Chris Leior.

The cover art features artwork from Maria Wolf, Luana Vecchio and Toby Wilsmer, as well as wraparound “gift tag” variants by Heart and Liall.

Dread the Halls 2025 will drop on December 3rd. And creators Jordan Hart and Chris Ryal will be attending New York Comics Con 2025 (October 9-12) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center to celebrate the release and meet fans before the release!
