Oni Press and Spectrevision are partnering for the latest issue 5 series, High Strangeness, a five-part comic book series inspired by “a direct explanation of true paranormal encounters in the dimly lit borderlands of human experience.”
Daniel Noah is the co-founder of Spectrevision, the production company behind films like Mandy, and goes home alone at night. The high oddity follows Noah’s own transformation from skeptics to curious minds about paranormal events. Noah has a high degree of oddity to help him get a glimpse into the inhuman intelligence, working with leading comic creators. Check out our creative team below.

“The strange and disturbing tales of a phenomenon known collectively as “high strangeness” have been baffling humanity for at least a century. “However, the story of a story, the story of a story after a retell, the experience of being shattered by these kinds of reality often seems to be reduced to the cliche of a “creepy tale” when it comes to novels, movies, games, or comics. The revelation of those who met with the miserable, yet surprising, integrates these diverse and horrifying illusions, which appear to be a measure of all alien, supernatural, fantasy, from 1967 to 2025, and integrates all equally fascinating chapters.
