During ComicsPro, Image Comics Imprint Ghost Machine has announced two new series. The first, appropriately, was the first ghost written by Brad Meltzer and Geoff Johns, along with the art of Gene HA. Launched later this year, the newly elected president and his young son soon discovered their new home, the White House, so “more frightening than Cutthroat politicians and red tape.” It marks another addition to the unnamed universe of imprints consisting of Geiger, Junkyard Joe and Redcoat.
This book will be Meltzter’s first comic since Marvel Comics #1000 in 2019. “Jeff and I have been planning this for years,” the author said in a press release. He previously worked with HA in the 2007 Justice League of America #11. “Working with friends like Jeff and Jean and creative Titans is a dream,” he adds. “Comment books are one of my first creative loves and I’m excited to be part of a ghost machine that can create the stories we’re investing in.”
Sisterhood #1
The second book to be released was Sister Relations: Hyde Street Story starring Hyde Street Hood. Playing it, happened on Hyde Street: With greedy writer Mital That and artist Leila Reis, the book “when he was accidentally drowned during the zing incident of a female student,” the book said. The story explores codependent and revenge in a story revolving around two radically changing lifelong friends. But on Hyde Street, death takes on a horrifying new meaning. “It will be released in July. .
The Ghost Machine also revealed that Leeds has signed an exclusive contract as an Imprint full-time artist. “Maytal and I had so much fun working together at Devour that we wanted to share another story together,” she says. “When Maytal pitched me a story for a sisterhood, I immediately said yes. And when the ghost machines offered me the opportunity to work with them exclusively, it was It was another simple answer for me.”
