TMNT I’ll be back this week on Tuesday. There is a special edition with first thoughts and a preview of teenage mutant ninja turtles #10.
Next week (July 16th), the questions will be in order, with half of which unfolding as courtroom dramas. With a pre-copy in hand, you can safely say that this is a must-read for anyone following since #1. The Ninja Turtles realize that when they fight together they become stronger, so the story becomes a complete circle. As we approach the end of the story arc, it is clear that these sibling troubles are beginning to iron. Of course, they are still quarrels as they are brothers after all.
The second half moves to unexpected territory and unfolds as a tense, sometimes hilarious courtroom drama. Donnie’s defense takes an angle that suits him, but while it may surprise readers, Raf has the opportunity to fly his fist and temper.
Artist Juan Ferreyra once again offers outstanding visuals with clever layout options, including using prison bars to assemble scenes of particular importance. In a showdown against Hale Fast’s approach, the issue balances heart, humor and high stakes tensions.
