Courtesy of Mondo and DC Comics, AIPT can share news on the official editorial cover of Saga of the Swamp Thing #37 facsimile. This is the first ever Alt-Cover collaboration between DC Comics and Mondo. Introducing John Constantine, a comic of importance to history lovers.

Alt-Cover features Matthew Allison’s artwork. “In the 80s there were some cartoons that felt like they were real gateways to another world. There was a portal to the outer/inner dimensions made of ink and paper,” Alison said. “Alan Moore’s swamp run was one of them: a true change in art form and a transcendent experience of all problems.”
Officially available on March 12, 2025, Mondo will offer timed edition screen-printed posters, allowing fans to own this impressive artwork in premium format.
Pre-orders will begin on Thursday, March 13th at noon on CT until Thursday, March 27th at noon CT. Only on Mondoshop.com. The poster is a seven-color screen print from a pure white paper from France’s construction. 24″ x 36″ Print with DL screen print. A ship to select a country. $80
This stunning cover rethinks legendary issues in a vibrant, bold, atmospheric style by the incredible Matthew Allison.
As you can see above, it’s really really big!
“I’m so excited that I worked with DC Comics to win Matt Allison for my first variant facsimile cover and poster of the year,” said John Manderville, senior art director at Mondo. “Alan Moore’s Swamp #37 is a coveted and important issue. Among them is the first appearance of DC’s famous anti-hero John Constantine (Hellblazer). Matt’s intricate psychedelic inkwork rethinks this iconic cover of all the rich details of the newly born Swamp spirit and the unified consciousness of the Earth. As long as the green lives, the swamp thing will never die!”
