Alongside Hasbro’s Evoke Entertainment Company, Skybound and Image Comics announced its first-time new one-shot hit comic shop, Super Creepshow Special #1, on October 8th, 2025. Based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shuder television series, the work on this anthology gives a frightening twist to Super Hero’s storytelling.
Charged as one of the most important cartoons of the year, this special invites readers to celebrate a bold, strange, and deeply unsettling superhero.
All-Star lineup of creators
This issue summarises some of the industry’s top talents for three calm stories.
Dan Watters (one hand and six fingers, Batman: Dark Pattern) and Carmine Di Jandmenico (Absolute Superman) create stories about the funerals of the greatest heroes of the world.
Ryan Stegman (X-Men) and Riley Rossmo (The Moon chases us, Harley Quinn) introduce the Grave Ghost, a superhero tasked with solving the mystery of his own death.
Ed Brisson (Wolverine: Old Man Logan) and Andrei Blessan (Dark Ride, the Spooky X-Men) explore what happens when “Super Serum” creates something much more shady than the heroes.
The anthology is directed by Brian Witten for the Monster Agency production of Nicoterro.

Super Creepshow Special #1 leads with a Pye Parr homage cover along with variant covers from Carmine Di Giandomenico and Riley Rossmo.
Creepshow horror doesn’t stop there. The fourth volume of the Creep Show begins its monthly run on September 17th and features an impressive lineup that includes Jeremy Adams, Eduardrisso, Rosie Knight & Oliver Ono, Gabriel Walta, Ted Raimi, Alex Pacnadel, Sheena Grace, Ramon Vila Robos and more.
