SCB distributors took part in the post-diamond landscape chat. Storm King Comics is based in Gardena, California and has signed a contract with editions collected in the US and global English markets.
SCB Distributor is an established indie book distribution founded in 1988. Currently, it covers 150 publishers and 5,000 titles. Other graphic novel publishers they have include Avery Hill, Last Gasp, Silver Sprocket, and one peace between publishers of graphic novels.
Storm King is a horror line founded by Sandy King Carpenter, John Carpenter’s defection, John Carpenter’s Halloween Night story, Storm King comics Dark & Twist, John Carpenter’s night horror, John Carpenter introduces Storm Kids. It’s a crude indie publisher that has been around for over a decade but offers a line that is too small for the moon or PRH.
Storm King was previously exclusive with Diamonds, but it started soon, with front and backlists available via SCB in both comics and bookstores.

Comics in regular format will continue to be offered via diamonds. For example, Storm King currently offers John Carpenter’s science fiction story. Matthew K. Written by Manning, drawn by Connor Boyle, it will be published on February 26th, #2 of the Six Issues, and on May 20th.
