The Manga Mania Panel reveals the plans for the Star Wars manga. It is most appropriate for events in Japan. Several projects with US publishers Dark Horse and viz, as well as European partner DPW Milan, have been announced, and here is the lineup. This stunning two-volume set shines a spotlight on Hisaotamaki’s original art from his acclaimed manga adaptation of Star Wars: New Hope in 1997. Ahead of the retailer’s launch, Dark Horse Comics will also offer a special edition through the publisher’s first Kickstarter campaign. This beautifully drawn cartoon is available in two different editions through Kickstarter, each offering a unique way to experience this extraordinary adaptation. Collector’s Edition is a two-volume hardcover set with Kickstarter Exclusive Covers and a new English translation, with the large premium Masterpiece edition available only from Kickstarter, and with two 176 pages of hardcover volumes and a 104 page hardcover supplemental volumes faithfully recreates Tamaki’s art in original sizes.
