Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer products are excited to announce The Space Ghost Annual. This is an oversized issue that arrived this June, closing off a year-old acclaimed adventure and setting the stage for even bigger challenges.

Since its launch, the new Space Ghost series has been a hit with fans and critics alike, combining the legacy of classic Hanna-Barbera with modern superhero storytelling. Author David Pepose (Captain Planet, Cable) and artist Jonathan Lau (Red Sonya, Green Hornet) create high-stakes action, mystery and heart-filled space furling sagas, and praise them from readers It won the praise that was received.

Pepose says:

From the beginning, Space Ghost is a true love labour from me and artist Jonathan Lau, bringing together the best parts of superheroes and science fiction. And we are very excited to see readers witness an epic showdown in the end. It’s been going on forever! We were very fortunate that our army of creators, fans, retailers and presses was able to defend our work without fatigue. For Space Ghost and his intergalactically discovered family, the future could not be any more exciting or even more dangerous!

With 12 explosive issues behind them now, Pepos and Lau expanded the scope of their stories over the last 28-page year, closing the Robo storyline while setting up the next comic story . The adventure reaches a boiling point when Dr. Xander Ibal’s ominous plan uncovers and leads to the unraveling of the malicious AI known as Ultima. To stop this universe catastrophe, Space Ghost, Yang and Jace must stand up to the entire council of Doom, but can they prevent Ultima’s terrorist rule?

On top of that, fans will first get a glimpse into the powerful new villain set to become the next major force in the Space Ghost universe. This bullying still begins the hero’s most intense and dangerous adventures. Creates an essential reading for both year and longtime fans!

Space Ghost Annual #1 presents stunning cover art by Francesco Mattina, Jae Lee, Bjorn Barends and Anthony Marques.

The solicitation will appear in the Diamond Comic Distributor preview catalog in the April 2025 preview catalog. This issue is scheduled to be released in June 2025.
