Image Comics has announced that Eight Billion Genies and Curse Words writer Charles Soule and artist Ryan Braun have teamed up again, this time for Lucky Devils. A satirical fantasy adventure, this nine-part series follows two people who make a deal with the devil on their shoulders to become richer and more successful, inadvertently becoming the most powerful people in the world in the process. We are following young people.

The Lucky Devils is the story of two kind-hearted Chicagoans in their 20s who begin working with demons to rebuild their damaged lives. It works beyond their wildest dreams, and before long they become two of the most powerful people on the planet. They intend to use their influence to make the world a better place, but we all know what they say about the road to hell…
A darkly hilarious satire about the struggle to do good in a world that tends to be evil, Lucky Devils features two of comic book’s most unique storytellers exploring everything that makes humanity great and terrifying. Verify.
The two will talk more about the series ahead of its debut at Image’s New York Comic Con panel “Breaking Ground” on Sunday, January 8th at 11 a.m. in Room 406.2. Meanwhile, Saul and Brown described Lucky Devils in a press release as a spiritual successor to the 8 Billion Genie, and Saul said, “What the Genie did for wishes and desires, the Devils Not to mention, you’ll see Ryan portray hundreds of hilariously badass little demons in The Lucky Devils. So Bad Is Good. I can’t wait for people to check it out this January.”
