LOS ANGELES, CA (September 26, 2024) — Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics, in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, have revealed various covers and interior pages from Universal Monsters: Frankenstein #3, the next in the four-issue limited comic book series from award-winning artist and writer Michael Walsh (The Silver Coin) and colorist Toni Marie Griffin (Black Hammer/Justice League). The penultimate volume of this new horror classic will hit comic shops on October 23, 2024.

Comic book superstar Michael Walsh reimagines the explosive horror hit, bringing back one of the most iconic monsters of all time, and readers can expect each issue of this limited series to tell a shocking story surrounding one of the body parts used to create the unforgettable monster in the original film.

In this third issue, Elizabeth Lavenza learns the truth about her fiancé, Dr. Henry Frankenstein, and his true intentions after giving him the gift he wanted, but is it too late to save those she loves?

In addition to the main cover by Michael Walsh, Universal Monsters: Frankenstein #3 features a diverse lineup of covers by top artists including Julian Totino Tedesco, Reiko Murakami, and Chris Stevens, as well as the third part of a four-part serial cover series by Francesco Francavilla.

Universal Monsters: Frankenstein is Skybound’s third Universal Monsters comics series, following James Tynion IV and Martin Simmons’ Dracula (for which Simmons was nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Painter/Multimedia Artist – Interior Art) and Dan Watters, Ram V and Matthew Roberts’ The Monster Lives! Frankenstein with yet another new limited series pairing some of comic book’s biggest names with pop culture’s most iconic monsters.

Universal Monsters: Frankenstein #3 (of 4) (Lunar Codes Below | MSRP: $4.99) will be available in comic shops and on digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books and Google Play on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
