Los Angeles 03/13/2025 – Today’s Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with major game, IP and toy company Hasbro, revealed the lineup of interior pages and variant covers for the Trans 19.

What happened to the Megatron? This is where all the fans have requested.

“When Daniel pitched the idea for this story, we knew we would invite special artists to do so. Rud Larabi was the first name that came to mind,” commented executive editor Ben Abernathy. “I loved his work from World of Warcraft and Battle Chasers, and his athletic storytelling and attention to detail were perfect for a Megatron-centric storyline.”

In addition to Daniel Warren Johnson’s main cover and series colorist Mike Spicer, the lineup of variant covers for Transformer #19 includes an open-order cover B by series artists Jorge Corona & Mike Spicer. 1:100 incentive variants by Pham Chuong, guest artists Ludo Lullabi & Guest Colorist Adriano Lucas, and blank sketch covers.

Transformers are the cornerstone of the Energone Universe, the crown jewel of the historic collaboration between Hasbro and Skybound. He introduced a brand new era of transformers and GIJo franchises in one shared comic book universe. Other energy universe titles include writer Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead), artist Lorenzo de Felici (Chroma), colorist Patricio Delpech (Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country) and writer Joe Joe Joe Williamson (Superman Layer), artist Reire Lerill (Superman Reire), and Kalast Joe Reire Lerile ((w0rldtr33). Fans should expect a moment of mistakes from all the issues in the energy universe, as secrets are revealed along the path to answering some of the big questions of the biggest comic franchises today.
