“Sin Zero” rethinks Sentai’s legacy with a neon-soaked graphic novel•aipt

The last Kaiju fell. The suit was tidyed up. And Sentai’s dream disappeared into my memory. Shin Zero is a requiem of forgotten heroes, both a homage to the myths that shaped them. Today, AIPT can share previews of your projects. This project remains on Kickstarter for seven days.

Magnetic Press and French Design House Label 619 cooked a powerful new graphic novel by acclaimed creators Mathieu Bablet (Shangri-La, Carbon & Silicon) and Guillaume Singelin (Frontier, PTSD).

Set 20 years after the final battle of Kaiju, Shin Zero follows Warren, Nikki, Herois, Satoshi and Sophia. Their legacy remains only in fluorescent jackets and dead-end side gigs. However, when awakening in abandoned ins, these washed-down warriors must face unforgettable questions. Should the legend be reborn or remains buried?

With Singerin’s energetic visuals and Bablett’s emotional storytelling, Singer Zero is where Power Rangers meet the rent.

Available editions

This 216-page debut volume comes in three formats.

SoftCover Retail Edition – 6.5 x 9 inches, Premium Wood Free Paper, French Flap, Metallic Foil Stamp Cover.

Limited Edition Hardcover – exclusively for Kickstarter with silver accents and distinctive curved corners of magnetic.

Deluxe Slipcased Edition – Collector’s Centerpiece: Kaiju-Skin-Textured Slipcase, Foil Details, Signed BookPlate, and exclusive Metal Sentai Corp Lapel Pin.

Check out the preview below.

Rewards expanded

Backers can also add highly praised works from Bablet and Singelin, including Carbon & Silicon, Frontier, Shangri-La, Adora Store, and Midnight Order.

Known for its edgy pulp-esque catalogue since 2008, Label 619 brings the project a signature fusion of pop culture and bold storytelling, with magnetic presses guaranteeing the trademark high quality production.

If the guards were working on the Power Rangers, or if the boys were beating their hearts, Shin Zero will become the heir. It carries the dreamy grit of Evangelion, the electric punch of MFKZ, and the emotional depth of all places at once.

Kickstarter will be held until September 11th, 2025. It supports the project, claims an exclusive edition, and helps rekindle Sentai Spirit for generations waiting for a transformation.
