Dynamite Entertainment has announced a major new partnership with Publishing Giant Simon & Schuster. This has now handled the distribution of Dynamite’s trade publications across the broader book market. The move has placed Dynamite alongside other top-tier comic publishers like Image Comics and Oni Press, serving as a key step to reaching comic shops, bookstores, libraries and online retailers such as Amazon. The news comes shortly after a Diamond Comics distributor filed for bankruptcy.

The deal comes at a key moment in Dynamite, which recently celebrates its 20th anniversary and is expanding its lineup to include not only fan favorite comics such as Boys, Red Sonja, Vampirella, Project Superpower, James Bond, but also new ventures with Disney, as well as pre-Christmas Nightmare, Lilo & Stitch), Warner Bros, Powered Bros, Power Poug Facly’s Power Pajat and Duck Tales. Paw Patrol, Blue’s Clues & You! , titles such as Mr. Zip from USPS.

“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the process of exploring the world,” said Michael Perlman, SVP of Simon & Schuster Publishing Services. “Their comics and graphic novels have an incredible range and appeal, and we are excited to bring them to even more readers around the world.”

Nick Barca, CEO and publisher of Dynamite, added: “The partnership with Simon & Schuster is a game changer. Their reach ensures that the expanding lineup reaches as many fans as possible, through indie bookstores, libraries or major retailers.”

Simon & Schuster manages distribution to Dynamite’s Book Market, including stores such as Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Indie Bookshops and Public Libraries. Direct Market Distribution – Comic Book Specialty Shop – is under the control of Moon Distribution, Universal Distribution, and Diamond UK.
