Seven Seas Entertainment is back with Wonderful Wednesdays at Seven Seas! The first batch of 2025 license announcements are fresh out of the oven and sizzling hot. This week’s announcements are dominated by boys’ love manga, and as usual, they are greeted with anticipation and enthusiasm.
My dining table: Wait a minute! The main story of Mita Ori’s “Our Dining Table” stands out, and its warmth has won hearts left and right. On the other hand, “Dysfunctional Family Theory” is the second work by Mayo Tsurugame to be released into the British market. “Perfect Proposal” is a digital-only title that has been well-received in Manga Planet’s library. Fans will be looking forward to reading more family stories by the same artist.

Seven Seas is kicking off the year with five new manga, one audiobook, one light novel, and a sequel. Publishers haven’t forgotten about readers who prefer romance and ghost ship titles, but fans of boys’ love win this round. There are also a variety of English versions of BL manga. There’s something for every taste, from a sweet family found, to a chaotic family, or a touching story of a doctor finding peace in the arms of a yakuza.
