There are tons of Shrek movies, but not a single one answers this question. After the ogre and various fairy tale villains are done fighting, who will clean up the mess? Square Enix’s PowerWash simulator has finally found the answer.
DreamWorks and Square Enix have teamed up to create the Shrek Special Pack DLC for PowerWash Simulator, now available on all consoles and PC. The new pack adds a number of scenarios from the iconic animated film, as well as some new armor and tools to help remove the many layers of dirt that have accumulated in the world of Shrek.
The new DLC pack comes with 5 new locations that require a good power wash. There you’ll find Shrek’s swamp home town, the town of Duroc with its adorable wind-up information center, the Fairy Godmother’s medicine factory, the dragon’s lair, and Hansel’s delicious honeymoon hideout with Shrek’s onion wedding carriage. Included.
The Shrek Special Pack also offers a new campaign mode that takes you through new scenes and earns you a new knight-themed power washing armor and hose set. You’ll also receive a message from a “familiar face”, perhaps the Muffin Man. (Muffin Man!) Yes, Muffin Man! (Actually, you probably don’t. He’s not really a supporting character in the Shrek universe, aside from nursery rhyme references in the first film.)
One of the great things about PowerWash Simulator is how crazy the DLC packs are. Square Enix has also developed special cleaning scenarios based on Back to the Future, Tomb Raider, and Final Fantasy. The developers have done so much work to clean it up that they accidentally lost track of one and released it to players on Steam.
