I’ll be the first to admit that I’m pretty clumsy. That is why we always purchase special protective equipment for our devices. But when I bring in the inevitable water damage or cracked screen, I’m still always shocked at the high repair costs. That’s why you’ll be happy to see that the Samsung Care+ plan for theft and loss has been updated to include $0 same-day repair for cracked screens. And the back glass. Samsung’s most expensive protection plan also includes unlimited repairs at authorized locations, so you don’t have to worry if it breaks down again.
Previously, same-day repairs were priced at $29 per repair. Care+ plan customers (next tier) will have to pay $29 for a cracked screen repair and $99 for a back glass repair.
However, even with updates, these “free” repairs aren’t cheap. Pricing for all Samsung Care+ plans varies depending on the specific device, and each product is divided into tiers. For example, a Galaxy S23 or S24 Ultra is currently in Tier 4 and costs $18 per month, or $349 for two years of Samsung Care+ Theft and Loss. The Galaxy A15, on the other hand, is in Tier 1 and costs $8 per month, or $129 for two years on the same plan.
Samsung Care+ with Theft and Loss is only available for phones, tablets, and watches, but it costs $29 to repair or replace your watch. Also includes same-day replacement and setup, Knox Guard Security, and up to three “lost, stolen, and/or irrecoverable claims” in any consecutive 12-month period.
