Justice League watchtowers are about to penetrate the unlikely cat robbery. DC Comics has announced the new sixth issue miniseries, Cheetah and Cheshire Robuza Justice League, which will reunite writer Greg Lacca and artist Nicholas Cott’s superstar creative team. Colorists Annette Kwok and Letter Troy Peter will close out the creative teams of all series in the series that will be released in August and will include Cheetah and Cheshire, who have invaded the headquarters of the world’s largest superheroes.

Here’s how DC explains Cheetah and Cheshire’s Rob the Justice League:

Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League show that honorable characters Cheetah and Cheshire are carefully planning and carrying out a bold robbery. But to achieve the impossible, Cheetah and Cheshire need to recruit the highest level crew who can beat the odds as well as the Justice League itself.

All between the six-shot Caper participants and the boldest extracts in DC history, there are some minor complications… the most sophisticated orbital platform ever built, its AI-driven security system, and the smartest and most powerful hero in the DCU.

Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League are the latest collaboration between Racka and Scott. The two previously teamed up on the storyline for the “Year 1” of the ongoing Wonder Woman series in the rebirth era, and the creator-owned series Black Magick. In addition to the main covers of Scott and Kwok, the first issue of this new series will sport variant covers by Gerald Parel and Lesley “Leirix” Li.

In a statement announcing the new series, Rucka spoke a little more about the crew Cheshire and Cheetah being gathered for work, and the motivation to attempt such a bold crime.

“I won’t fill in lead,” Rakka said. “This is a villain crew, or at least a nominal bad guy. One of them has no access to the Justice League watchtower. We haven’t made this easy. But for the Cheetah, this is an all-or-noming play. This needs to be done.

Check out some more non-letter interior pages from the first issue of the series by Scott and Kwok below. Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League #1 (6) are scheduled to arrive in stores and digital on Wednesday, August 6th.
