I’m not very familiar with the Stark comics, but the annual # 3 written in Peter David published in 1988 is a bit strange. Although it is a character, it is not the only focus of the story. An unusual thing is that what is usually talked about in Star Trek is not a type story.
That’s exactly why I wanted to cover it. I am a big fan of Peter David’s work. And since his incredible running in Hulk (it started in the mid -80’s and lasted for 12 years), I have never read his Stark comics (the site. It took a long time to become a Star Trek fan, as it was documented elsewhere.
The annual story is the title “Retro Supech”. And it’s a somewhat tragic story, but it’s sweet. He expressed concern about the happiness of Chief Engineers to Kirk, and McCoy accompanies the captain in the Scotty Dormitory. The rest of the story is spoken through various flashbacks. The story jumps back and forth at a different very important moment in the relationship with Grinis with Scotty.
Coloring is certainly a date based on modern standards, but the legendary cart swan artwork is wonderful. Most of the similarities of familiar characters are strong, and newly introduced characters are often rendered and unique.
It’s a great thing to look deeper into the stereo -type Scotland clouts, but it’s a great thing to look deeper in Scotty’s past (of course, the fake skot scott accent style that you really want). “Retrospect” is a surprisingly mature, thoughtful story of love and loss. The manga book still has an image for children and adults in the arrested development, but this medium has always been used in various genres and stories with various levels of maturity. Is clear. Many mainstream commentators do not seem to see this. Of course, there are exceptions. Watchman seems to be one of the few examples of mature comics that have broken through Snowbreaks, but there are so many materials that have escaped notifications for many years. However, I must admit that I was surprised to find such a mature reflective story in Star Trek comics.
There is a reference to the continuous event of Stark, as Scotty’s NE’s loss is Khan’s anger event. Although not mentioned in the movie, it was in the deleted scene (mentioned in the novel of the movie). This is not sure if it is regarded as the “official” part of Scotty or whether it is considered the history of the Star Trek, but it helps the story a standard feeling.

It is very difficult to find the year itself, but it is (printing and digital) collection The Star Trek Archive Vol. Can be used in. 1: The best of Peter David. It’s worth reading. When you get the collection, you will find four classic trek stories featuring the original cast. I definitely want to check these stories more myself. Of course, as I do, of course, I cover them more.
