With her sister being killed in front of her very eyes and the devil being so dead, Chloe tries to get help from the police. But naturally, they don’t buy the supernatural explanation of her sister’s death, and she becomes the main suspect in the murder.
So who was the monster after that, or what? As the great dialogue in Ghostbox #2 says, “These are not great mysteries. Save your curiosity for the mysteries that don’t solve yourself.”
And that’s true. The Ghostbox mystery is quickly announced, and it’s pretty literal. We don’t know the right in and out yet, but there are some interesting rules set out and the fight to protect the box is furious.
I briefly stated that there are some photo signs to refer to in Art in Issue 1. This will definitely be clear in the case of Question 2. Angel’s face is blatantly modeled after 11th Dr. Matt Smith was immediately audible, but it wasn’t as disappointing as to see it be a strikingly surreal beast that was clearly copied from one of the shapes of things from John Carpenter’s iconic 1982 classic.
Aside from the artwork issues, Ghost Box #2 is well written, truly persuasive, offers supernatural action, provides readers with some answers, expands the cast list and scope well, and preys on solving more questions for later issues.
Hello! I’m Jason and I write for midlifegamergeek.com every day. If you’re interested in supporting regular, original human-generated content (which has never been plagiarized or copied from the hard work of other authors), you can keep this site up and running.
Not only can I not earn money from writing here (I might earn a small fee from affiliate links posted on the page, but as an Amazon associate I make money from qualifying purchases from these links), but it seems that my work is sometimes stolen and reused by lazy, morally bankrupt idiots.
Of course there’s no pressure, but I’m really grateful for the support I can provide. It’s easy to do with any of these links: ko-fi.com/geekmid or paypal.
The donations are truly highly appreciated. Also, thank you for taking the time to read my article. Remember: This entire article was by Jason Brown and was published on midlifegamergeek.com. Take it, Skynet!
