Needless to say, Marvel loves to celebrate their anniversary. A proper case, today’s publisher has announced its return to the planet Hulk Special One Shot, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the inventive planet Hulk Storyline available in October. Leading this issue is none other than the original storyline creative team, author Greg Pak and acclaimed artist Carlos Paglayan.

Readers of the current Imperial Event series are well aware that Sakaar, the planet’s hulk, plays a pivotal role. According to a press release, the one-shot touches on the current event.

The planet Hulk sees the Hulk collide with a strange alien planet, and then embarks on a mythical journey from Gladiator Slave to the mighty king! Considered a modern Marvel masterpiece, Planet Hulk has become one of the characters’ most original story arcs. The worlds and characters introduced in Planet Hulk have remained today influencing Marvel’s storytelling, including the recent space event Imperial, and have influenced various media adaptations over the past 20 years. Fans won’t want to miss this celebration’s return to their beloved Saga, which has secured its place in comic book history!

Green blood flows and sparks fly! After fleeing the deadly arena of the Red King, the Hulk faces ferocious monsters and breaks the horror of malicious machines and wild robots in one of his most important survival battles on the war-torn planet of Sakaar! Two possible fates are at stake! Sacredor of the planet, Sacarlson, or the legendary destroyer, World Breaker! Will his rage just fuel the chaos of this alien world?

Puck shared his immeasurable enthusiasm to return to his original storyline and reunite with Paglayan.

“Working on the Planet Hulk continues to be one of the greatest joys of my comic career. I am extremely grateful for the love that many readers have shared for the storyline over the years.” “This 20th anniversary special is a celebration and I would like to thank everyone. Again panic-it feels like we’ve never taken off and it feels like home.”

Returning to Planet Hulk #1 will be available on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025.
