Courtesy of Marvel Comics, AIPT is able to share the cover art and solicitation for Red Hulk #2. The series, announced in November, is written by Benjamin Percy and has art by Jeff Shaw.

“When I learned about the events of One World Under Doom, I immediately thought of Thunderbolt Ross,” Percy explained. “A global takeover will not be tolerated by a man who bleeds red, white, and blue (especially red). And as a soldier in the field, as a military strategist in the war room, and as a walker in weapons of mass destruction. His experience as an ally made him a target for Doom long before he took action.

The series plays politics using the “think tank” that imprisoned Thunderbolt Ross based on recruiting information.

Great escape!

Thunderbolt Ross plans to escape from the “Think Tank” where he is imprisoned by Doctor Doom. Red Hulk’s powers are fading as he has been underground for a long time. He needs the help of misfits like Machine Man, Deathlok, and General Simon Riker to outwit and defeat the army of Doombots pursuing them.
