“Marvel Zombie: Red Band is a dream project,” co-author Parker said. “As longtime Marvel fans with a deep love for horror, we have the opportunity to rewrite Marvel’s universe through the most bloody lens we can imagine.”

Sheridan said, “We’re blending everything we love: Epic Marvel events, horrifying horror, shameless gore. This is the complete rift of Marvel history in the most disgusting way possible.”

The first landed on September 17th and features Gregland’s main cover and variations of Clayton Crane, Ryan Brown and Scott Coblush. Question #2 continues on October 22nd.

Preparation for the Massacre – Marvel Zombie: Red Band is here, and the heroes are not safe. Pre-order now at your local comic shop…if you have the courage.

New York, New York – June 26, 2025 – The Marvel zombies announced last week at Fangoria rose again this September.

Marvel Zombie: Red Band is a limited edition five island series written by Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan. Labeled with parental recommendations and polybagged with warnings against explicit content, the imprint of red bands maximizes the storytelling potential of Marvel zombies and breaks down Gore, Blood and Horror restrictions! In the upcoming saga, the Undead consumes Marvel comic history and destroys pivotal stories with insatiable hunger, including the fateful space voyage of Marvel’s first family and the original secret war!

The Dead rises again for the first time!

It was the most important space flight in the history of Marvel universe – four brave heroes taking off into the unknown, blessed with altered changes, amazing abilities, hungry for human flesh! Returning to the birth of Marvel’s universe, we are parallel to ourselves, but since its incredibly beginning, we’ve been filled with horrifying horror! Which hero will become the champion we know and love? Which limbs are torn from your limbs? And who will devour scraps?

“Writing Marvel Zombies: Red Band is nothing but dreams come true for Griffin and me,” Parker said. “As a fan of the Marvel Universe and its storied lifelong past, and a writer who created a love for the bloody horror genre, this project couldn’t have been more in our sweet spot.

“Ethan and I are like MAD scientists combining so many different things we love at Marvel Zombies: Red Band,” Sheridan added. “The result is an epic covered in visceral bloody intestines that span all the biggest events in Marvel history. It’s really clear. I’m very grateful for the Marvel universe.

Check out the first two covers by Gregland along with variant covers from today’s local comic shop debut issue of Ryan Brown, Clayton Crain, Scott Koblish and pre-order Marvel Zombies: Red Band #1!
