Skybound and Image Comics, in partnership with Hasbro, has announced Gi Joe: A Real American Hero #321.

Following in the footsteps of issue 21’s groundbreaking “Silent Interlude,” this special installment brings an involuntary form that changed the history of comics. This time, the Snake Eyes and Dawn Moreno have to defend their Pit Solo after the sound weapons have neutralized their teammates.

“This is another all-certain issue,” Hama said. “It features a healthy weapon villain return from Gi Joe Originins #19.

Artist Chris Mooneyham said, “Every time we deal with Larry’s script, it’s a thrilling challenge. Question #321 wasn’t different either. I hope longtime fans will feel the same magic.”

This issue features Andy Kubert’s main cover and Laura Martin’s colours and several variations.

“After the original silent issue, Larry Hama did it again,” said Alex Antone, editor-in-chief of Skybound. “This new chapter, paired with Chris Mooneyham, offers a fresh, action-packed take for a new generation.”

GI Joe: The Real American Hero, along with the universe of The Expanding Energon, remains a key title in Skybound and Hasbro collaboration.

Issue #321 will be available on October 8th via Amazon Kindle, Apple Books and Google Play, in comic shops and digital for $3.99.
