Random House Graphics launches Inkpop line

As announced in School Library Journal, Penguin Random House’s children’s graphic novel publisher, Random House Graphic, has launched Ink, a line showcasing print versions of manga, manga (Korean comics), and webtoons. We have announced Pop. The upcoming comic line will be an age-appropriate counterpart to Inklore’s publications, which sell similar titles, albeit aimed at adults.

The line starts with I Wanna Be Your Girl, a youth manga by Kai Takase that was originally published online from 2018 to 2020. A second series, “My Life as an Internet Novel,” has also been announced. My Life as an Internet Novel, a YA comic by Han Ryeo Yu and A Hyeon, depicts a teenage girl transported to a world similar to her favorite high school romance novels, where she is confronted by multiple potential suitors.
