In our testing, we found it to be stylish, compact, and offers balanced output and 360-degree sound.
The first thing you’ll notice about the Marshall Emberton II is its stylized, scaled-down Marshall amp, a nod to the company’s history. At the front center is a vintage-looking metal grille that prominently displays the company’s iconic logo. The device can be ordered in black and cream colors. Both are sold at the same price.

Not only does the Emberton II look great, it also has upgraded specs from the original model, making it even better value (especially at this sale price). Equipped with two 10-watt full-range drivers and passive radiators, it delivers impressive sound for its size. This speaker isn’t the loudest speaker in the room, and it’s tuned to focus more on balanced sound characteristics than eardrum-shaking power. (Still loud enough for most uses.)
Like its predecessor, it supports 360-degree sound for a multi-directional experience. If you purchase a pair, you can wirelessly stack them together using Marshall’s companion app for even more immersive listening. Even if you already own one, the sale price of $100 could be a great opportunity to pick up a second one and link it up.
The speaker lasts over 30 hours on a single charge and can be fully charged in 3 hours. It has an IP67 dust/water rating and is rated to withstand immersion in several feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Emberton II weighs just 118 g (4.2 oz).
