You’re not alone. The PlayStation Network is currently facing issues, with people being kicked out of matches and games crashing all over the world. As reported by Downdetector, the issue occurred just after 8pm ET tonight, September 30th. Sony Interactive Entertainment has not yet issued a statement regarding the issue, but it has updated its PlayStation Network status page to indicate that several services are down.
Users cannot sign in, create new accounts, or edit account details on PS5, PS4, PS Vita, or PS3. You also cannot perform account maintenance on the web. Similarly, you can’t stream games on the web or on your PlayStation console. You can’t window shop either. Users cannot browse or search for games, redeem vouchers, make purchases, or download previously purchased titles.
“We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,” the company said in an update. “Thank you for your patience.”
