Remember when it was nearly impossible to get your hands on a PS5? Those days are long gone. For gamers and those looking to get their hands on this console for the first time, this can only be a good thing. Cyber Monday may be over, but the PS5 discounts are still here. Get $75 off the PS5 Slim at Amazon, Walmart, Target, Sony, and other retailers. The digital version is available for $374, and the disc-based model is available for $424. I wouldn’t call this an affordable console, but these sales make it a little more affordable, and if you don’t already have one, it’s the ideal time to see what all the fuss is about about the PS5.
Despite the name, there’s nothing wrong with the specs. This is a regular PS5, with the same horsepower as the original unit. However, the PS5 Slim is 30% smaller and about 25% lighter. When it comes to technology, smaller is usually better.
Both versions come with a DualSense controller and a 1TB SSD. These consoles also come pre-installed with Astro’s Playroom, the predecessor to the amazing Astro Bot. However, a vertical stand is not included. Additional charges apply. The digital-only model obviously doesn’t come with a disk drive, but there’s also a standalone drive available for those who want to decide later.

Otherwise, this is the PS5. There is no other way (at the moment) to play games like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. It also runs cross-platform hits like Star Wars Outlaws and Elden Ring, as well as pseudo-exclusives for PC like God of War Ragnarök.
This sale is not for the recently launched PS5 Pro, so you won’t get all the bells and whistles to upgrade your graphics. However, that new console costs a whopping $700, while these PS5 Slim consoles cost just over half that. And we’d be remiss if we didn’t also mention the sale on the DualSense wireless controller that works with the PS5 console. You can buy them starting at just $54 each on Amazon and Sony.
