Nearly two months after Saladin Ahmed’s run ended in Daredevil (Vol. 8) #25, Marvel Comics has revealed the future of the Man Without Fear series. Writer Stephanie Phillips (Planet She-Hulk) and artist Lee Garbett (Loki: Agent of Asgard) will re-serialize the comic this March, starting with Matt Murdock, now a law professor, playing a new vengeful supervillain named Omen.

Hell’s Kitchen is full of secrets, but none stay buried for long. A terrifying new supervillain named Omen is targeting Matt Murdock, so it’s up to his alter ego Daredevil to take it on! But be careful! This mysterious new player isn’t all there is to it. There are secrets Daredevil must learn quickly as he struggles to settle into a life he’s never seen before and the status quo.
Phillips is the second woman to write a Matt Murdock series, following Anne Nocenti, who wrote the series from 1987 to 1991. She said, “I’m playing my favorite character with one of my favorite artists, and together we’re exploring the noir sensibilities of Daredevil. Lee Garbett brings so much style and emotion to every page, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to deliver this version of the work.” Fearlessness towards life. ”
Garbett added, “I couldn’t be more excited to be working with Stephanie Phillips on Daredevil. We came into the project together with a genuine love for this character and a clear vision for this book. Steph is an incredible writer and has absolutely nailed the tone and heart of the Daredevil world. Every beat feels authentic and purest DD, but we have fresh ideas and some big surprises in store!”
Issue #1 will be released on March 18th, just in time for the premiere of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 on Disney+. Despite controversy over this practice, Marvel clearly couldn’t resist toying with Matt’s disability. Because some of the covers are sold exclusively in blind bags. The lineup is as follows.
