As Momoko Peach’s Ultimate X-Men series comes to an end along with the rest of the Ultimate Universe series, fans are wondering what the acclaimed comic book writer and artist will do next. Looks like we won’t have to wait long, as Marvel has announced Sai: Dimensional Rivals, a five-issue limited series focusing on the title character, Psylocke’s version of Momoko’s acclaimed Demon Days saga. The five-issue limited comic series will be written and drawn by Momoko Peach, along with superstar creators including Stan Sakai, Esad Ribic, Natasha Bastos, Mike Del Mundo, and Sara Picelli.

Marvel describes the series as follows:

Introduced in 2021’s Demon Days: X-Men #1, SAI is a psychic warrior who fights monsters with terrifying skills in feudal Japan. The character is a bold reimagining of X-Men’s resident ninja telepath, Psylocke, and continues to inspire the breakout version of the fan-favorite Psylocke featured in Marvel Rivals. Now, Sai is back and unfolds the Momokoverse for a thrilling adventure through a new creator-driven multiverse in search of a unique set of Infinity Stones.

In an almost dreamlike work, Peach Momoko brings together a collection of artists to tell one story in many parts as Sai travels through the multiverse. It’s a true spectacle of the manga medium, unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Momoko said:

“I’m excited to start a new Sai comic with artists who I met through comic events and work and now consider friends. In this series, Rhino will be the main character. We’ve had various artists enjoy drawing Rhino from their own unique perspectives. Rhino will travel through different universes and have various experiences based on each artist’s unique perspective. I think it will be a great collaboration, so I hope everyone will enjoy the new charm of Rhino!”
