Pathea Games has made an official announcement about their next game, “My Time at,” and it looks like we won’t have to wait long to see what the next new adventure will be. Through the developer’s official Discord, the company revealed that a Kickstarter for the next game is coming up. Get your wallets ready, this is a project many will want to back.
According to the company’s official Discord, the Kickstarter for the next My Time at game is scheduled for late September 2024. While it feels like My Time at Sandrock was released yesterday, Pathea Games isn’t putting the brakes on. Instead, it’s expected to be officially announced within the next few weeks, which is incredible. However, as many of you know, the development cycle for My Time at games tends to take several years, so don’t expect a full version to be released anytime soon.
Following this announcement, the internet is abuzz with speculation about the new name. Many think that we might finally see Highwind, since we heard about this location back in Sandrock. Others believe that it will be the official PC version based on Project ME. Either way, this small announcement alone is enough reason to be excited.
Personally, I’m more excited about the new character ratios, which you can see in the Reddit post above. I don’t mind the big-headed characters taken from Tim Burton’s movies. But I feel that the new ratios are much better and will attract an even larger player base. However, nothing is set in stone yet, so we’re just excitedly speculating.
