Clearly in the upcoming variant cover of Marvel Comics, one world under Doom #5 has revealed that Earth’s biggest world and Doom United will see the common enemy, Dormammu! As seen in some of the core series runs of Ryan North and RB Silva, this summer’s June issue features a large turning midpoint with a limited number of Issue 9 runs. You’ll see these characters reluctantly cooperate to stop their terrifying enemies.

This is the premise of one world under Doom #5:

Dormammu came for Doom – and Doom survived. It broke and dried up, but Doom guaranteed victory as he bought the time he needed. Now, Earth’s heroes are facing choice. They can allow the Earth to fall into Dolmanm – or they can fight for the Earth beside him alongside their destiny. Doom is his best – the Earth hero is behind him so you can’t stop him now. Except for the unexpected return of the old enemy, nothing…

But that’s not all. As seen in a preview of One World under Doom #2 earlier last month, in the upcoming issue, Doom will bring the world together under his administration. Most of the inhabitants of the Earth have all strangely agreed and accepted that brand new emperor, but some would like to oppose their fate. In particular, the Fantastic Four is giving speeches that ring out at the United Nations, interrupting Earth’s leadership.

Here’s what Ryan North had to say about his positive reception to the series:

“I celebrated the release by signing for three hours at a crossover comic in Montreal on Wednesday. I met a lot of great people. And, fortunately, I also made my first review from readers who read the issue while waiting to sign! Thankfully, he really liked it. It’s great to wake up in snowy Montreal and see all the enthusiasm about the book. It’s a story that’s been made for years, so I’m really pleased to finally get it and get so well received.”

And here’s a preview trailer courtesy of Marvel Comics:
