Izumi met his match in one or more ways.
Izumi was one of his company’s top sales reps, and he flew high in #1 until Sendo joined the team and surpassed him. Now, Ike cannot stop his jealousy and his desire to compete with Ced at every cost.
One day, at a request from his friend, Izumi downloads a dating app for men to work as app testers, but to her surprise, he connects with someone and the two begin a meaningful friendship. Izumi shocks herself by agreeing to meet this mysterious man in public…
Of course, it turned out to be a send.

At Izumi’s complete shock, the two begin a physical relationship filled with joy. Izumi never knew that he would have to give up the charade at some point in the send.
I don’t want to blow the ending away for you, but at some point the truth comes out. The relationship between Izumi and Sendo has been tested and… things get worse before they get better. Unmet destiny follows the traditional romantic beats seen in the novel, so if you’re a fan of romance, you’ll get everything you want from this manga and more. This checks all the boxes: meet (although awkward), fall for each other, denial, separation, reunion, and HEA.
What’s difficult for me is that I’m not a fan of the misconceptions that always move the plot. Izumi pretends to be a gay guy to help promote his friend’s app, and when he gets the chance to be clean with Send, he blows it. Then there’s something like a snowman coming to mind. This certainly shrunk me, and it might make you cry. To accept the progress of the plot, you need to pause almost the mistrust. Overall, except that I win everywhere when certain things happen, I overlook Akeno’s deception and could just shoot the story, and I found it fun to do so.
The art is gorgeous and appetizing. The characters are beautifully described, and their love scenes range from animal-like primitive sex to more intimate and loving moments. Make sure this manga is completely uncensored. Therefore, if abundance of nudes are not your tea, avoid this. It’s full of spicy sex scenes.

Overall, I had so much fun with this comic: a fascinating story that begins with a beautiful man, beautiful art, and a little shrinking, grows into a romantic story of love that burgeoning between two professional rivals.
BL fans will enjoy this, especially the more explicit BL fans. The story hits every romance plot beat and gives you a glimpse into an unmistakable chemistry-filled M/M relationship. You will cheer Ito will be clean with Send (and himself) and Send will ultimately find “one.” Constant: “Do I like him? If so?” Izumi feels that he is promoting the story and, when it is finally resolved, cheers on this couple.
The never-to-meet destiny is available online and digitally from various stores and in paperbacks from Tokyopop.
