Marvel Comics has announced that “One World Under Doom” will be released as a tie-in, starting with “Red Hulk.” The new series, currently in progress, is written by Benjamin Percy and has art by Jeff Shaw. Issue 1 will be in comic shops on February 26th.

“When I learned about the events of One World Under Doom, I immediately thought of Thunderbolt Ross,” Percy explained. “A global takeover will not be tolerated by a man who bleeds red, white, and blue (especially red). And as a soldier in the field, as a military strategist in the war room, and as a walker in weapons of mass destruction. His experience as an ally made him a target for Doom long before he took action.

Now, what is Red Hulk?

Red Hulk is furious at the ruined world!

Thunderbolt Ross is Doctor Doom’s prisoner in a cell deep underground, but he is not alone. The best military, criminals, and political brains are gathered against their will in a prison complex that serves as a “think tank” to help carry out Doom’s plans for world domination. But Red Hulk has other plans! Guest appearances include Machine Man, Deathlok, and more!

“So I proposed a story in which Ross is kidnapped by Doom and forced into a ‘think tank’ prison, where he tries out different wartime scenarios. That’s where we start. There’s no time to catch your breath. It’s a book. It moves, moves, moves with constant movement and tension. Jeff Shaw is a wonderfully brutal artist who I worked with on the Wolverine/Ghost Rider crossover, Weapons of Vengeance. . We designed this not just as an action piece, but as a war book. Prepare for a Hulk-sized assault on your senses. ”

New York, NY — November 13, 2024 — In 2025, ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM will overtake the Marvel Universe. In addition to the core title spotlighting the iconic supervillain’s rise to glory, Doom’s reign will be felt throughout Marvel Comics, particularly in tie-in issues and series. Today, fans can learn about the all-new Red Hulk ongoing comic series, one of the first ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM tie-in launches.

Coming in February, Red Hulk sees Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross once again take on the role of the being he hates the most: Red Hulk. The series will be written by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Jeff Shaw, following their explosive collaboration on last year’s Wolverine’s “Sabretooth War” storyline. This new story arrives just in time for Red Hulk’s long-awaited MCU debut in Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World, which hits theaters on February 14th.

Red Hulk begins with Doctor Doom imprisoning Ross in Latveria for exploiting his military expertise. Ross’ only hope of escape is to unleash the power of the Red Hulk like never before and attack Doom’s Kingdom from within! “The Hulk has always been my favorite Marvel character, so playing in this gamma-irradiated sandbox was a dream come true,” Shaw added. “Add to this Doctor Doom, perhaps the villain of villains, and you have an artistic disgrace to the wealthy. I’ll knock your red socks off!”

“The Incredible Hulk #19 finds Ross conducting dangerous covert missions around the world in the name of national security,” says series editor Mark Paniccia. “From this point on, Ben and Jeff never let up on the gas, delivering intrigue and mystery with heart-pounding action and shocking moments!”
