As Napalm’s babysitters bend their hearts and soak in the barrels into #10 next week, the series will be present as one of the boldest Sci‑fi sagas for many years. Question #9 delves deep into the confusion and adoration of readers. Rick Remender’s surreal reality-wondering story continues to unravel who and what are actually real, and Bengali visuals reach new heights of imaginative inventions. It’s the three heads that bleed the weight and emotional resonance of the theme. It’s just as unsettling as it’s ambiguous, yes, but totally persuasive.
Problem #10 builds on these dense ideas, escalating the conflict between brothers Sam and Sarah, revealing more of the fractured world they pass through, and highlighting the inexplicable powers they behave. If you follow, be sure to be more strangers in this finale, so be sure to stay strong. That’s right, it all ends with #10!
Napalm Lullaby #10 is like a cartoon that responds as soon as it’s finished. Then you think about it. Next, think about it a little more. It shocked me at first, then angered me, but ultimately impressed me with the courage. There are conflict, twists, and the final panel that makes you think about this story, and hot topics in our own world. It is totally surprising and evokes thoughts. Even if you close the book and I reserved about its final publication, this extra relationship after I close my gratitude and love what it did.

This issue involves Sam and Sarah returning in superhero costumes to fight crime. They are enacting vigilante justice on the tentacle robber gang. It’s straight from the pulp superhero comic. This is impressive because this book wasn’t about it. The culmination of their crime battle ends when Sam refuses as another creation by Sara, who is unhappy with Sam not accepting this reality.
This leads to two sparrings in words and ultimately with fists. It takes 15 pages before you can make a choice not to block or avoid battle moves. I say this. This is because the front and back are unnecessary and excessively long. That’s especially when the initial twist falls.
Before that twist, Bengal makes things interesting with his battle scenes and fighting moves. The power to change reality is fully on display and remains a highlight of the series. Meanwhile, Sam’s deep rage and Sara’s confused nature continue to go home via a powerful expression.
It’s not until the last few pages that at the end, that a few pages turn the script over and truly make you think about what it is. I’m still pondering whether I like this ending or not, as someone is forced to be fascist symbolism and anti-religious. But again, it made me contemplate the meaning and also how rare it is for a comic to swing like this. The latter sentiment is a major reason why Remender continues to provide cutting-edge storytelling and pushes the medium so many can’t.
Napalm Lullaby #10 offers a finale that is as divisive as it is bold, solidifying the series as one of the most ambitious sci-fi experiments in recent memory. Pacing can fade during a central conflict, but this issue ultimately sticks landings into unforgettable, brave, thematically rich final acts. It challenges you, irritates you, then gains your respect, and perhaps even praise once the dust settles down.
