For the first time in decades, the world will clash with the expected Marvel/DC: Deadpool/Batman one-shot available in comic shops on September 17th. Based on the promotional push coupled with the number of variant covers, it is safe to assume that the number of sales for this comic is bananas. Speaking of variant covers, Marvel has released the last three covers from artists J. Scott Campbell, Peperaraz and Esadrivich.
As fans can see, “Livich’s covers will shine a spotlight on the main event, while Campbell and Lalas’ covers will attack vigilante huntress and injustice against two intense X-Men bullying fights, iconic Batman Supervillain Poison Ivy!”
In addition to the Mouth and Caped Crusades major crossovers written by Zebwells and drawn by Greg Capro, Deadpool/Batman One-Shot features backup stories from Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert, Jeff the Land Shark, Kelly Thompson and Captain and the Captain and the Captain and the Americas, Jeff the Land Shark, Adam Kubert, and Adam Kubert, among others. Dodson, Rocket Raccoon, Green Lantern, Al Ewing and Dyke Luann, Wolverine (old man Logan) and Batman (the Dark Knight is returning) are Frank Miller.
Wells told IGN in a recent interview:
Superstar artist Greg Capro added. “For me, it’s like working with the bookend of my career. I drew Deadpool a few years ago while attending X-Force. Of course, I was looking at Batman in the long run.
Even more exciting, the first interior art of one shot has been announced. Pages from Main Deadpool/Batman Crossover by Capro and Jeff from Daredevil/Green Arrow and Grihill’s Landshark/Crypto by Kubert.
