Michael Walsh, thank you for joining us on the AIPT Comics Podcast. You’re very busy at the moment with Nullhunter, Sacred Damned, and Frankenstein all coming out at the same time, how do you find time? Nullhunter is a little different by teaming up with Gustaffo Vargas. What’s the elevator pitch? Nullhunter has some stunning visuals, from large-scale action to futuristic technology. As an artist, how detailed is the script when you’re illustrating the book versus when you’re working with collaborators like Gustafo? How Null Hunter is inspired by the labors of Hercules I know, but beyond Greek mythology as a guide, do you have a world bible? What’s the future of this version? In some ways, Nullhunter reminds me of Dune, with its vast government in space; What was the inspiration for that? Nullhunter has a way of stripping away descriptions and keeping them to the bare essentials. What’s the process like? “The Silver Coin” and “The Sacred Damned” contain some nasty monsters. Have you ever found yourself pulling out your old sketchbooks and dusting off your designs when the right script comes along? We had Pornsack Pichetshot on the show a while back, and Horizon n We talked about Experiment. we love that concept. How did you get involved? Switching gears to Frankenstein: What is it about Universal’s Frankenstein that makes this particular incarnation so enduring? In Frankenstein, unique from a child’s perspective We are taking a similar approach. Was this always in your pitch or did it just come about organically? Fanboys are asking: Can we expect more silver coins in the future?

Rapid Fire Question Round:

The best sandwich? What possessions should you really throw away? An apple or an orange? What was your first comic? Have you ever asked someone for an autograph? Has your art style come into its own? What do you think? What happens when you die? Favorite action movie? Favorite smell? Disliked smell? Favorite superhero? Most used app on your phone? Ever If you could have dinner with any three characters you created in , who would it be? Why? One song you should listen to for the rest of your life: What would it be? What genre would you like to draw more in? For the rest of your life Please explain in 5 words?
