“The ideas of Tamia and memories of dragons were born because I wanted to write a story with a dragon as the main character,” said writer David Branya. “But I wanted it to be a different kind of dragon from what the story normally portrays, a friendly dragon with its fears, its limitations, its personal challenges, concerns, but it needs to complement its human companions, and that is how Tamia was “born.”
“The same goes for the two children, even if they are very different. Her way of looking at life as a human, combined with the fantasy surrounding Dragon Sossost, brought this comic,” continued Blagna. “It reflects friendship, the process of maturation, the acceptance of loss, and many other sensations and emotions I have experienced in my personal life.
