The story is flashed back in 1383. There, John of York (known as the medieval spawn) comes out to destroy a terrifying creature called withered ones. But he is not the only person in the hunt. Caleb Hawthorne, the legendary knight Sun, and his squire also joined the pursuit, causing an epic conflict between two of the image comic’s most legendary warriors. Can a medieval spawn end his mission, or will Knight Sun stand on his path?
“When I first came up with the medieval Rogue Sun Night Sun, I secretly hoped that he might one day cross medieval egg-laying,” Parrott said. “To be honest, I thought it would never happen. But everyone in Todd (McFarlane), Thomas (Healy) and Todd McFarlane productions are incredible collaborators, and it was a real dream to make this happen.”
Rogue Sun #30 arrives on Wednesday, October 15th, with alternative covers by Stefano Simeone (Cover A), Abel (Cover B), and Simeone (Caber C). This issue is available digitally on Amazon Kindle, Apple Books and Google Play.
