Marvel today unveiled 15 retro Halloween mask covers by artist James Kerrigan. Variant covers appear throughout Marvel’s line in September leading up to Halloween season, styled like a cut-out mask for children, completing the instructions “See Adults for Help.”
“Working on this cover series was an explosion as I put together two things that I love so deeply: Marvel and Halloween,” Kerrigan said. “There’s a nostalgic charm to the Halloween decorations of the 70s, and especially the vacuum cleaner costume masks that served as an inspiration for this project. It was a joy to order that retro, slightly creepy charm in a way that celebrates both the season and the art!”
