To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Apocalypse of the Legendary Age, Marvel will launch this October this year with the Apocalypse’s all-new X-Men epic. Teaches this game-changing storyline from last week, becoming a dystopian future that will shape the X-Men universe a decade ago in a form other than Doug Ramsey, and become the heir to the Apocalypse of Revelation, Apocalypse.

The event begins with surprises: X-Men: Age of Revelation #0, Prelude issues with author Jed Mackay and artist Humberto Ramos. The selected comic shop has already received a limited “Shadow Drop” variant edition this week. Additional copies are now available for order. This issue, featuring wraparound cover by Ryan Stegman, lays the foundation for the saga to come.

Then, on October 1st, Age of Revelation Overture #1 by Mackay and Stegman will officially launch this new era. The storyline spans the entire X-Men line with brand new titles like Amazing X-Men, Unbreakable X-Men, and Expatriate X-Men, and its impact ripples across the Marvel Universe with unexpected spinoffs like Radioactive Spider-Man, X-Vengers, Iron and Frost. The full series will be announced next week.

Set 10 years in advance, Age of Revelation imagines a world transformed by Doug’s mutant power. After being accepted by Cyclops’ X-Men, Revelation uses his abilities to create what appears to be a mutant utopia, but beneath the surface there is a dark truth. Humanity has been erased and not everyone is on board. Resistance is formed, and war is on the horizon.

“The age of revelation is here,” Mackay said. “We’ve built the whole future, and now we see other creators stepping in to explore it in their own unique ways. This is the dawn of a better world or the beginning of the end.”

Fans should check out their local comic shop for availability of X-Men: Age of Revelation #0 and keep an eye on the full series that is coming soon. For more information, please visit marvel.com.
