Marvel Knights is back with Jimmy Palmiotti headlining the new “Dardevil/Punisher” series.

This November, Jimmy Palmiotti will return to two of Marvel’s most iconic street-level heroes, Daredevil/Punisher: Devil’s Trigger, a five-island limited series under the Marvel Knights Banner. In collaboration with rising star artist Tommaso Bianchi (Thunderbolts: Doomstrike), Palmiotti offers a brutal new chapter in the ongoing ideological war between Daredevil and the Punisher.

When the Punisher targets the Gunucci crime family, who has been resurrected in his trademark vengeance, Daredevil is forced to intervene before bloody tears pull away from the hellish kitchen. Below is a high stakes clash between two vigilantes who want justice, in very different terms.

“This exploded back into this world,” Palmiotti said. “These characters mean a lot to me, especially considering my roots in my Marvel Knights days. The story plunges deep into the moral tension that defines both Frank Castle and Matt Murdoch, pushing that tension into its split point.”

As Frank escalates his war with crime, Daredevil watches a new wave of crime syndicates rise at the site of the Gunucci family. It is law vs. deadly force, revenge on justice, neither side has retreated.

“It’s just as philosophical brawl as physical,” Palmiotti added. “Writing this was a thrill. It’s cruel, thoughtful, everything I love about these characters.”
