And as such, Marvel joined the GlobalComix Digital Comics platform. As the digital comic space race gets hot, GlobalComix offers one of the widest range of titles, both in traditional page format and mobile vertical scrolling (Webtoon) format. More details from PR:
GlobalComix presents Marvel chart topping fans’ favorites, including dozens of other blockbuster series, including Amazing Spider-Man, Imperial, Marvel Rivals, Deadpool & Wolverine: WWIII, and Ultimate Universe titles. “It’s like the GlobalComix community is getting their final Infinity Stone,” said Eric Tapper, Vice President of Business Development and co-founder of GlobalComix. “Marvel is the biggest name in the comic and we couldn’t be excited to ultimately make it accessible to our fans on GlobalComix, and we enjoy this just as much as ourselves.”

Rob Salkowitz gave a debut interview with GlobalComix executives, noting that this is a long, looping process to marvel at the platform.
Eric Tapper, vice president of business development at GlobalComix, says the companies have been holding back terms of their partnership for some time and are excited to announce the deal in the end. “We’re pumped!” he said in an interview. “It’s been a while. This is definitely something we’ve been waiting for.”
Salkowitz also points out one of the most important aspects of this new digital comic boomlet.
The main publisher’s strategy of not playing favorites among digital distributors shows a departure from the last major period of competition in the early 2010s, when Comixology’s exclusive deal with Marvel and DC helped clear the field. It also reflects the development of a world of burning prints that rely on a single distributor during the pandemic, leading publishers relying on burning. They apparently embraced the competition at the distributor level afterwards. Marvel did not provide a quote for this article on each publication deadline.
Salkowitz’s work has more relevant analysis, so we’ll go into it in more detail.
This is turning into a golden age for those who like comic digital. In addition to GlobalComicix, Neon Ichiban was launched on a publisher’s full slate. Comixology remains a part of Amazon’s Kindle Reader program. The sweet shop is still a work. And then the looming mystery of Disney Toon comes. Boot that digital device and read some comics!
