DC and Marvel are bullying many new projects from this week’s ComicsPro 2025 retailer expo, but the biggest news could come from both, not one of those publishers. During today’s presentation, DC Editor-in-Chief Marie Javins and Marvel Editor in Chief CB Severski jointly announced that DC and Marvel will be crossover again later this year.
Jim Lee/Scott Williams/Alex Sinclair’s recent cover of DC vs. Marvel Omnibus
According to On-The Scene Live Skeet from Beat’s fearless founder Heidi McDonald, the crossover will be offered in the form of two one-shots titled DC/Marvel and Marvel/DC. No additional details have been made available at this time.
This news isn’t a big surprise given the huge success of past DC and Marvel Crossover’s recent omnibus collections, not to mention the limited JLA/Avengers collection that can be used as a fundraiser for the Hero Initiative in 2022. With the comic industry facing an uncertain future, projects like this will be a welcome arm shoot for retailers.
Once information is available, look for details on the new Marvel/DC crossover.
