It may take some time to see Oscar Isaac recreate his role as Moon Knight in the MCU, but Marvel Comics is for you to cover. Yesterday, the publisher announced that he would be celebrating Moon Night’s 50th anniversary this July. This is a special issue of Moon Night: Fist of Khnoshu #10, which also occurs in the 250th issue of the character.
Here’s how Marvel explains the problem:
Since its release, Jed Mackay’s Moon Knight has become one of the most acclaimed runs in character history, redefining the mission and myth of Legionnair of the Moon for the New Age! Well, the series’ scribes still set the stage for his most ambitious and courageous story! With Devmalya Pramanik from Rising Superstar taking part in and Marc Spector in a decisive showdown with new supervillain Achilles Fairchild, it’s a groundbreaking issue that fans can’t afford to miss. It is the explosive finale of the current arc of the series, and the next amazing beginning of the Midnight mission…
Writer Jed Mackay, who started working as a character several years ago, expressed great excitement about celebrating the 50th anniversary of Moon Night.
“Take Moon Knight from Legacy #201 to Legacy #201 to Legacy #250 over the past few years has been an extraordinary experience. We were able to play long-term stories and develop casts of characters in ways that we couldn’t do before.
