Writers Jackson Lansing and Colin Kelly officially return to the world of Thunderbolts with Thunderbolts: Doomstrike, a five-part One World Under Doom tie-in. The series, drawn by artist Tommaso Bianchi (Giant-Sized Silver Surfer), sees the Thunderbolts, led by Bucky Barnes, attempt to overthrow the newly crowned Emperor Doom, and Victor, the original member ( (including Moonstone, Atlas, and Fixer) are urged to reunite.

Doom has conquered the world. And Bucky Barnes helped me with that. To atone for his unwitting role in Doom’s victory, Bucky assembles a team with one goal: to burn everything down. But when Bucky’s saboteurs (including Black Widow, Songbird, U.S. Agent, Sharon Carter, and a few surprise wildcards) begin an unrestrained campaign to tear apart Doom’s empire, Doom Determined to prove that revolutions end in blood…

Kelly and Lansing, who wrote the “Thunderbolts” miniseries (featuring art by Gerald Borges) since earlier this year and, before that, Bucky’s latest adventure “Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty,” said: There is. North) and company planned One World Underdoom, a Marvel event with brains, heart, and incredible scope. Thunderbolts are an important part of the puzzle. This is a story about what happens when heroes openly oppose Doom, and how they must learn to fight differently if they are to make a difference. ”

They continued, “Thunderbolts: Doomstrike brings back the characters and storylines we’ve been building since Captain America: Sentinels of Liberty, and adds new Thunderbolts from every era. “It’s a completely new look at the most nasty and mean superteam of all time.” – A story about fighting against power, even if it means sacrificing everything. ”

The first issue will be released on February 19th, ahead of the theatrical release of the Thunderbolts movie on May 2nd. The main One World Under Doom series by Ryan North and RB Silva, currently running nine issues, will meanwhile launch in February. Meanwhile, two other announced tie-in series, Mackenzie Cadenhead and Pascal Ferry’s Doom Academy and Joe Casey and Criss Cross’ Weapon X-Men, will debut on the same day. Doomstrike day. The new ongoing Red Hulk series from Benjamin Percy and Jeff Shaw will begin as a tie-in next week on February 26th.
