Unveiled today in Corider, Marvel’s Star Wars superstar Dr. Ahura will be the headline for a new ongoing comic series written and portrayed by longtime Star Wars artist Gabriel Guzman in June by rising star Cherish Chen (Radiantred) and acclaimed in June. Following the flagship Star Wars series of Alex Segura and Phil Notto released in May, Star Wars: Doctor Afra – Chaos Agent will be the second launch in Marvel’s new era of Star Wars Storytelling, set with almost untapped post-returns from the Jedi period.
Debuting on the pages of Kieron Gillen and Salvador Laryoca’s Darth Vader 10 years ago, Dr. Cheri Rona Afra instantly captivated fans with her morally questionable nature and the fatal dynamics of the Lord of Darkness, becoming the first comic book original Star Wars character ever to star in their own solo series. After the hits of 40 consecutive hits set in the original trilogy, Ahura embarks on her most unpredictable misfortune as the galaxy changes in the wake of the battle of Yak. Her crimes are forgiven, Ahura enlists in her friend Luke Skywalker and makes effective use of her treasure hunting skills on behalf of the new Republic!
