Many comic creators in the industry call Los Angeles home, living and working in a city currently battling devastating wildfires across the county. As I watched the situation unfold, I couldn’t help but wonder which publishers would be the first to step up and take action to help the affected communities. The answer turns out to be that Mad Cave Studios runs a charity comics anthology called LA STRONG: A CHARITY COMIC FOR VICTIMS OF THE LOS ANGELES.

“When tragedy strikes, we stand together. At Mad Cave Studios, we believe in the power of art to heal, inspire, and rebuild. Through this anthology, we celebrate the resilience of Los Angeles. We aim to honor and provide much-needed support to those affected by these devastating fires,” said Mark London, Founder and CEO of Mud Cave Studios. “This is an opportunity to give back to the community that has given us so much, and we invite creators and fans alike to join us in making a difference.”

“The comics community is known for coming together in times of crisis to support their community, and this situation is no different.” Follow Mike Martz, Editor-in-Chief at Mad Cave Studio .

LA STRONG: A CHARITY COMIC FOR VICTIMS OF THE LOS ANGELES FERES features contributions from prominent artists and writers in the comics community. Each piece commemorates the strength of Los Angeles by celebrating its spirit and resilience.

This cartoon itself provides some comfort and assures us that our collective efforts will be made to support our comrades and those affected by the fires. Details about who will appear in the anthology and how the funds will be distributed are currently unknown, but we will provide further updates as they become available.
