IDW Publishing has announced that all proceeds from its upcoming book, Godzilla vs America: Los Angeles, will go to charities supporting comic shops and bookstores in the Los Angeles area that have been affected by the recent fire.

The book is the second issue of the Godzilla vs. America anthology miniseries, and will be released on March 30th following the successful and critically envisaged Godzilla vs. America: Chicago, and the final order cutoff.

IDW Publishing Bureau:

Please take part in repaying your favor. 100% of the revenue from this comic supports BINC’s response to wildfires to our community.

This issue is Gabriel Hardman (Green Lantern: Earth 1), J. It features works by Gonzo (Lamano del Destino), Jordan Morris (Bubble), Dave Baker (Mary Tyler Moorehawk), and Nicole Goo (The Shadow of the Batgirl). Godzilla vs America is the latest miniseries published by IDW in collaboration with Godzilla rights holder Toho. When Godzilla finishes in Los Angeles, he then goes on a rampage alongside Godzilla vs. America: Boston.

I read the problems myself and can prove that there is a great job from all the creators involved. The pure premise of this anthology allows for a lot of flexibility and creativity, which continues to show in an exciting issue 2. There, it all feels like the fun and interesting take of the Monster King, while feeling that all the stories are different from one another. Godzilla has many stories and requires a lot to stand out, but this miniseries so far shows just how much it is still possible to create its own take on the legendary monster. What stands out especially for me was Gabriel Hardman’s incredible opening story. It’s worth checking out Godzilla fans and curious people, especially considering revenue.

This book features Gabriel Hardman’s main cover and J. It features variations of Gonzo and Dave Baker.

Godzilla vs. America: Los Angeles can be pre-ordered until Monday, March 24th.
